Draw & shape
Draw profiles, build geometry with Push/Pull, Offset and Follow Me, then refine proportions with precise transforms.

BUILT FOR THE WAY YOU THINK
Draw, organize, express and extend.
The right tools for every step of modeling.
Start with lines, rectangles and circles, then turn faces into solids with Push/Pull. Endpoint, midpoint and intersection snapping work with axis locking and numeric input to keep your ideas precise.
Lines, rectangles, circles, polygons and arcs.
Extrude along a face normal, with set distances and repeat operations.
Move, rotate, scale, copy and create arrays.
A SIMPLE PATH TO THREE DIMENSIONS
Build, organize, then express.
Take your design from simple solids to a complete model.
Draw profiles, build geometry with Push/Pull, Offset and Follow Me, then refine proportions with precise transforms.
DRAW & SHAPEOrganize geometry into groups and components. Edit nested content and reuse definitions to keep repeated elements consistent.
ORGANIZE & REUSESet materials, edge styles and shadows. Explore spaces with scenes and sections, and add text or 3D lettering.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
Yes. ModraUp is free to use on macOS, Windows and Linux. The source code is not currently public.
The project is in development. A public download channel and release date have not yet been announced. This page showcases current features and does not provide an installer.
The source code is not currently public. Any plans to open the source will be announced separately.
OpenSKP enables .skp import and export; the native project format is .osk3d. SKP exchange does not cover every feature: models containing section entities must be saved as .osk3d, and model and scene shadow settings do not fully round-trip through SKP.
The project is implementing a Ruby API with names matching SketchUp, including extension loading, a Ruby console, toolbars and HTML extension interfaces. API coverage and behavior are incomplete, so plugins need individual testing. Full compatibility is not guaranteed.
These six screenshots were captured from ModraUp on macOS. They show house shadows, scripted 3D text, section planes, a large terrain model, and two views of a large outdoor commercial building model. The model tests reflect specific scenes and do not represent performance for every model.
